There are a lot of things that make Broomfield, Colorado a great place to live. Namely, the people and the businesses they run.

The Box Portable Storage is proud to operate one of its two facilities in Broomfield. When we launched in 2020, we wanted to help other local businesses by providing viable storage options. However, if you’re moving or have another reason for needing portable storage, we’re here to help all of our neighbors. You’ll find our Broomfield location at 11605 Wadsworth Boulevard (we have another location in Greeley), but we provide portable storage delivery within 60 miles of town.

1. Take in The Sights on a Bike Ride at Big Dry Creek Trail

The Big Dry Creek Trail is 11.7 miles long and reaches from Standley Lake to I-25. Ride a bike, take your dog for a walk (on the leash) or go for a walk on the scenic route. There are tons of connector trails that feed off the main trail, so you can choose a new adventure while you’re there, but be careful not to get lost.

2. Go Shopping at Flatiron Crossing

There’s a store for everyone at Flatiron Crossing, Broomfield’s premiere mall. In fact, there are over 200 of them, plus an AMC movie theater and restaurants. Make a night of it: Buy yourself a new outfit and go out to dinner.

3. Have a Beer at a Local Brewery

If Colorado is known for anything, it’s really good beer. And Broomfield’s breweries won’t let you down. Check out 4 Noses Brewing Company for a brew and get a bite from one of the local food trucks scheduled to stop by. Other great options include Rails End Beer Company or Wonderland Brewing Company.

4. Take a walk in the Broomfield Community Park

Slow down and go for a walk through the Broomfield Community Park. There’s a playground for the kids, batting cages, a skate park, a swimming pool, barbecue area and more. You could spend your whole day here taking in the fresh air.

5. Play a round at the Eagle Trace Golf Club

While the driving range is currently closed, you can schedule a tee time as a guest or become a member at the Eagle Trace Golf Club. You must schedule your time in advance, however (no walk-ins). Play nine holes or the full 18.

6. Have a cup of coffee at the Navah Coffee House

Sit on the patio and look at the stunning mountainous views while you drink a cup of coffee at the Navah Coffee House. The shop brews Ozo Coffee from Boulder, sells baked goods from local bakeries and the breakfast menu items are either made in-house or come from other kitchens within Broomfield.

If you’re more of a tea person, Master Tea, an authentic Taiwanese tea house, sells hot tea, iced team, milk tea and boba.

7. Get lost at VR Social

VR Social (VR stands for virtual reality) is one place you need to visit. Make a reservation, pop on the head gear and play virtual games with friends and family. According to VR Social’s website, you can “pick up objects, jump to platforms, solve puzzles, all while not having to move from your seat.”

8. Practice Your Aim at Empty Quiver Archery

If you like trying new things, try archery! Book at class at Empty Quiver Archery, a 20-yard, indoor archery range. Classes start at $15 (plus equipment, which is $5) and it welcomes ages eight and up. Keep in mind, right now walk-ins are only welcome if there’s enough space.

9. Take a Dip at The Broomfield Bay Aquatic Park

Broomfield’s water park is opening back up in Summer 2021! It has two body slides, an inner tube slide, a leisure pool and an interactive water play structure. Plus, a few more things for the little ones. Head there on a hot day and take a break on the lawn with a snack from the concession stand.
